The short version

- It's free to take part. You don't buy anything to enter.
- Only real sales count. Buying from your own store doesn't.

What it is
The weekly sales bonus is a reward from BigPlug for plugs who sell the most. Every plug is placed in a group. Each week, the plug in each group with the most completed sales gets a cash bonus. The bonus amount for each group is shown in the app before the week starts.
A week runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, Lagos time.
Who can take part
- Plugs aged 18 or older who live in Nigeria and have an active BigPlug account.
- You are entered automatically when you join a group. There is no entry fee, and store hosting is not a condition of winning. A plug whose hosting is unpaid can't take orders, so can't make new sales that week.
- BigPlug staff and their households can't win.
How winners are picked
- This is a reward for sales, not a draw or a game of chance.
- A sale counts when the buyer has confirmed delivery, or 48 hours have passed after delivery with no problem reported. Refunded and cancelled orders don't count.
- Sales that are still open at the end of the week count in the week they are confirmed.
- If two plugs tie, the one who reached that number of sales first wins.
- Winners are shown on the group leaderboard in the app, usually by Tuesday.
How the bonus is paid
- The bonus is paid to your BigPlug balance. You can cash it out like any other earnings.
- Bonuses are cash only. We never pay them as airtime or data.
- We may check a winner's sales before paying. If you don't respond to a check within 14 days, the bonus may not be paid.
- You are responsible for any tax on bonuses you receive.
Playing fair
We may cancel a bonus, remove you from a group or close your account if you:
- Buy from your own store, or ask friends to order and cancel.
- Use more than one account.
- Break our house rules in any other way.
Changes and ending
We may change the bonus amounts or these rules, or end the weekly sales bonus, with notice in the app. Changes don't affect a week that has already started. Any bonus already won will still be paid.
